Otters have almost disappeared from the Shetland Island, but they are now thriving thanks to strict protection measures. Thanks to the population boom, the director Jacqueline FARMER and a bunch of seasoned film makers ( Jerome MAISON, Cyril BARBANCON, Roberto Rinaldi and Richard SHUCKSMITH) followed during 2 years the destiny of a female otter raising her cubs. Through the eyes of these fluffy predators, discover these wild islands constantly battered by the North Atlantic storms. When they are not hunting crabs, fish or octopus, otters are swimming amongst orcas, gannets, seals and other ocean wanderers. A great family adventure, a source of inspiration for your next holidays !
